Aha Pueo: Pueo workshop, Mo´olelo + Conservation talk

Thank you very much to everyone that joined our Pueo workshop. We all learned a lot about the Pueo and the great connection that this species has with the Hawaiian people. Not everyday you experience how science and culture merge together in harmony!

Thanks to University of Hawaii West Oahu (UHWO) for hosting the event, to Manulani Meyer and Kanani Wond for organizing the event, to Molly Hageman for bringing all the great owl specimens from the Bishop Museum and for her excellent talk, and to Aunty Lynette Paglinawan and her students for sharing their connection with the Pueo and their great knowledge about the Hawaiian culture.
